Yes, we will create a adoption certificate for you after you have chosen one of the endangered sea turtle species. If you do not want to give the sponsorship as a gift, your name will appear on the certificate. Otherwise, we will enter the name of the recipient.

No, we do not offer this, as it would mean a considerable expenditure of time and money. So-called tracking, which is promised by some dubious providers, can also mean considerable stress for an animal and is therefore only carried out in exceptional cases on a scientific basis. Instead, we prefer to use every cent for our species protection measures, such as the nightly patrols on the beach, supplies at our beach camps or also the important scientific work on site.

We have chosen this term because we cannot assign every patron to an animal. There are several reasons for this, including the fact that the animals that benefit from our conservation measures live in the wild. It is therefore possible that we only meet them once while they are laying eggs and then never again.

Absolutely! Ideal when you don’t know what to give your parents or a close friend as a present. All symbolic adoptions can also be made on behalf of another person. Simply use the donation form and enter the name of the person you would like to donate for in the field.

We have decided to divide the sponsorship contributions between the different endangered species. If you would like to take on more, you are welcome to choose two or more species to sponsor. Alternatively, you can donate money directly to our projects.

Even though we try to keep the costs of everything else as low as possible, nothing runs entirely without an administrative level. In fact, the distribution of each donation is as follows: 84% of your adoption contribution is used directly to protect the selected turtle species and its habitat. 16% is needed to coordinate the projects, to issue the adoption certificates and to send you regular information about our projects, if you have ticked this box. 😊
