The Turtle Foundation has created many new jobs already in the Derawan archipelago, Indonesia. Such new employment opportunities are extremely valuable in Indonesia in general and remote areas such as the Derawan archipelago in particular. In most cases our rangers support several of their family members with their salary.
You can sponsor "your own ranger" by covering his salary for one year.
